Marben brings to Swito Corp his experiences gained in project management, communications, research, and writing. As one of the pioneer members, Marben provides reliable delivery in customized training activities on digital storytelling and puzzle making particularly dealing with marginalized communities.
Marben has facilitated in digital storytelling for the school-level outlet of creative expression for children with special needs, child participation for Disaster Risk Reduction and Health and digital literacy for children in remote areas.
Upon expanding his role as project manager of Balay Balay Architecture Puzzles, Marben now looks into production streamlining and finding sustainable materials. He enjoys working with artisans especially when it involves learning new techniques and getting his hands dirty.
Marben cultivated his intrinsic inclination to grassroots and the social sector through his involvement in several student organizations both in high school and college. He is a product of BS Agribusiness Economics of the University of the Philippines Mindanao.

Rose is an architect and the Director of Swito Architectural Designs and BalayBalay3D Architecture. She is a product of University of the Philippines Mindanao – BS Architecture. Soon after she graduated, she started her architectural career as a technical officer for TAO Pilipinas, Inc. where she gained experience working with the urban poor communities in Metro Manila and implemented people-centered Architectural design.
In 2010, Rose gained considerable experience in design and project management of malls and assembly areas, working for SM Engineering and Design Department. Her experience in Architecture is inclusive as she can combine commercial design with community values to bring out building with social impact.
She co-founded Swito Corporation in 2012 and Swito Architectural Designs in 2013 and became one of the emerging women architects who encourages nation building, empowers individuals and promotes Mindanao Vernacular Architecture. She then headed the Design and Innovation of new brands including Balay Balay 3D Architecture, the makers of 3D toy puzzles of traditional architecture of the Philippines.
Rose is also an advocate of alternative building construction specifically with the use of the ‘old’ and ‘new’ indigenous materials where she incorporates used bottles and tires with bamboo and lumber, upscale junk in building materials and advocating for green roof systems and rainwater catchment. Apart from her social entrepreneurship, Rose leads GBG Women on the Web to encourage women to become entrepreneurs and follow their passions in life.
Angely Chi is a creative writer and interactive visual artist. She currently stands as Project Director of Balud Art Network where she collaborates a network of art spaces and groups in the Philippines. She also co-manages the community press, Balud Books, and is Assistant Director of BalayBalay 3D Architecture.
‘Chi’, as her art friends call her, is one of the pioneers of Switotwins Inc and adds to the artistic vision and network of the group. Her expertise in project management and training has cultivated the storytelling arm of Switotwins. She also serves as project manager and Residency Assistant for The Unifiedfield Nomadic Artist-in-Residence Program in the Philippines.
Chi became researcher for “DAVAO-KUO: The Intertwined History of the Abaca Industry and Japanese Migration in Davao”, Davao Museum of History and Ethnography in 2012. Her considerable knowledge in art transcends beyond visuals as she inputs to Architectural and social realms. In 2010, Chi was exhibit writer for “Grand Churches and Religious Icons of the Philippines”, Davao Museum of History.
Chi has a free-spirit that contributes to the light-hearted atmosphere of Switotwins Inc. She is a product of the BA Creative Writing of the University of the Philippines Mindanao.

Henna Dazo is an architect, researcher and a social entrepreneur. She finished her BS in Architecture Degree at the University of the Philippines Mindanao where she studied the torogan architecture and building traditions for her thesis. Her thesis then became a platform and basis for research for the Balay Balay 3D Architecture Puzzles’ first model where she became a researcher of the project grant from NCCA.
As a senior architect and co-founder of Swito Designs Inc. which is committed to elevating the design value of Philippines, Mindanao and Nusantara Architecture, she found herself to be an advocate for Mindanao architecture, culture, and education. In which she co-founded a network of advocates, organizations, and people with a conscious effort to promote and preserve the rich cultural and built heritage of Mindanao Traditional Architecture by way of a tangible book publication, from an effort it became a network called the Mindanao Architecture Advocacy Network. Simultaneously, this led her to be the project head of the Mindanao Architecture Style Guide that mainstreams the traditional architecture in the southern part of the Philippines, Mindanao by way of a tangible book publication.
Currently, she involves herself not only on her private practice as an architect but also in the developmental work as an advocate and researcher of Mindanao architecture where she studies, conducts and holds talks with her fellow advocates in partnership and collaboration with government and private sectors and organizations, academe, schools, colleges, and universities.
